What is a Mini Split?

man shrugging shouldersFor those in the heating and cooling industry, mini splits are well known as one of the best investments you can make for total home comfort.

How a Mini Split System Works

There are many advantages to installing a mini split system for your HVAC needs in your home. They are easier to install, and are often times more efficient than traditional duct systems. A condenser is installed on the outside of your home, and a control unit on the interior, with a small line set between the two. The indoor air handler or evaporator takes in warm air and converts it to cool air to more efficiently cool your home in the summer months. This is a great way to cool your home with minimal invasiveness during installation and set up.

Why do I need Ductless Air Conditioning?

Ductless air conditioning is perfect for that one room in the house that just can’t seem to cool down, no matter how freezing the rest of the home may be.  Giving you complete comfort where needed, it is the perfect zoning system to cool one area instead of the entire house, saving you money and energy.  It’s perfect for that bedroom over the garage, an enclosed sunroom, or loft.  Ductless air conditioning is whisper quiet inside and outside of the home, making it ideal for an office or nursery.  A ductless system is easy to adjust or simply turn off when not needed.

Mitsubishi is the world leader in Ductless Cooling and Heating, with many Energy Star models with efficiencies up to 30.5 SEER.  For the allergy sufferer, Mitsubishi provides dual and triple allergen filtration.
